Hybrid Cherry Picker

As part of working towards reducing our carbon emissions and becoming carbon positive, we have replaced our standard cherry picker with a NIFTY HR21 HYBRID 4×4 MK2.

Niftylift has combined an efficient Tier 4/EU Stage IIIB Diesel engine with a clean and quiet electric power pack to produce the world’s first parallel hybrid power system on a MEWP. The system offers an electric-only mode for zero emission operation, or a Hybrid power mode economical and environmentally conscious operation whenever it’s needed.

On Electric only the machine becomes a ‘zero emission’ machine. On Hybrid Power, the machine allows the electric motor to automatically assist the Diesel engine when required (e.g. climbing a steep slope), boosting the overall power available.

The Hybrid technology power pack also incorporates an advanced exhaust purification system, greatly reducing CO (Carbon Monoxide), HC (Hydro-Carbons), particulates (soot), and noise emissions.
