Hypo Box

For a few years now this contractor has been working with a diabetes safety organisation to raise awareness of the risks and condition and make provisions such as ‘Hypo boxes’ at office locations. Ahead of Diabetes Awareness Week, this contractor looked to get a greater understanding of the impact of diabetes in the workplace.

Most in the workforce knew know how poor diet contributes to diabetes, but are not aware of how diabetes can affect work and the workplace.

Therefore the contractor decided to educate the workforce and place ‘Hypo Boxes’ on all the sites alongside the first aid box.
