Improving the Appearance of Site Cabins

Good first impressions are critical to create a positive impression and to improve the image of the industry.

It is important that the external appearance of the site looks professional and well maintained.

Some sites have secured planning permission for stacked portacabins, which can potentially raise concerns amongst local residents as they are visually unattractive.

Sites have improved the appearance of cabins by doing the following:

  • Covering the cabins in building wraps, which meant the cabins blended into the surroundings;
  • The building wraps improved the appearance of the cabins and minimised residential complaints.
