Incident Notification System
The project team have introduced an Incident Notification System to ensure that all relevant persons are informed of an incident occurring on site in a timely and factual manner.
A text message is sent to pre-set distribution groups for each of four classification groups:
- Level 1 – Serious Incident
- Level 2 – Significant Incident
- Level 3 – Minor Incident
- Level 4 – Highway only
Pre-authorised personnel from the site team can log into the system and complete the pre-formatted text message at any time when required.
- Different levels/types of incidents can be identified
- Specific distribution groups can be set up for the different levels/types of incidents
- The system is easy to use: users can log in via their phone or desktop computer as the service is based online
- Allows quick the concise information to those who need to know
