Mace’s Greenwich Peninsula Upper Riverside team has created a 4D video clearly showing step-by-step processes involved in taking a typical apartment from concrete box to finished state.

The video was developed with in-house BIM specialists to enable all operatives to see in a short, easy to follow video their role in the wider sequence of building a typical apartment.

The team made sure that the complexity of the construction process id demonstrated while not making the video dull and ensuring that everyone watching it can appreciate it.

This video will be played on a loop at a central point so that any operatives can watch it at their leisure and discuss any questions with the relevant people.

The video has many benefits including:

  • Saving time – increased understanding of the construction process
  • Improved collaboration – appreciation of others work and respect for all people involved in the process
  • Set clear guidelines – establishes a consistent approach across a large project
