Intelligent Security System

Situated in the heart of the City of Westminster, this project is a prominent mixed-use development within walking distance of the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and St. James’ Park. Considering the location, the project can be an attractive place for trespassers.

In order to keep site safe and secure, the contractor has implemented a series of CCTV camera systems.

Thermal Cameras are used to protect access to site cranes, PTZ (360 degree) cameras are also in place in many locations around site perimeter. These PTZ cameras are fitted with a remote laser system, which will automatically direct the camera to the area when triggered.

Invisible Trip Wires are also in place above the 3 metre hoarding line.

All CCTV cameras are fitted with an Infra Red system, a tannoy system to verbally warn trespassers and a Dog Patrol also attends the site during night time.
