Ivor and Honor Goodsite

Industry mascots, Ivor and Honor Goodsite, are costumed characters developed by the Considerate Constructors Scheme for construction companies to engage with a younger audience and to encourage safety on and around construction sites.

Ivor and Honor Goodsite are also used to promote a positive message about the UK construction industry to the younger generation.

Costumes can be hired for industry-related events such as school visits, and a number of products are available to purchase for Ivor and Honor to pass on to the children they meet.

There is also an annual Ivor Goodsite Hoarding Competition, which allows sites to engage with the local community and invite young people to design and decorate their hoardings based on a chosen theme.

Honor Goodsite now has her very own competition called ‘Honor’s Big Build, which is free to enter and open to all registered sites, companies and suppliers. This is a fantastic way for all contractors to engage with their local communities by asking them to build a structure out of recyclable materials.
