Kent County Council Day Services Site Visits

Since the beginning of our project, an ongoing feature has been our building manager, David Sweeney, hosting site visits from Kent County Council’s Day Services Department.

Regular users and one-off visitors alike enjoy a tour of the site, in which David explains works that are being carried out and that are soon to happen. He also demonstrates all the machines and their on-site functions.

We hand out packs that contain fact sheets about the machines, animals in the local area (including how to take care of endangered species), puzzles and colouring pictures.

The visits are something that the whole team look forward to, as we feel that we can interact with members of the local community that we might not otherwise get the opportunity to engage with.
