Kids Zone on the Hoarding

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic this contractor was unable to arrange site visits with local residents and local schools to provide further insight into the construction industry. However, they want children to be aware of the dangers of playing on a construction site but also to know how great it is to work in this industry. The industry needs to shift its outdated image which is still held by many to show young people the breadth of opportunities in construction.

They created an area on their hoarding, a ‘Kids Zone’ displaying the Hunt the Hazard and Spot the Job signs and using puzzles made out of recycled materials. They installed hanging baskets, viewing panels and a notice board with information on safety in construction and what construction is all about.

A large display screen shows all their latest timelapse camera and drone footage, above the screen is a countdown clock displaying how many days, hours and minutes until the development is completed.
