Kone Jump Lift

This new lift installation process enables installation of the permanent passenger lifts even before the lift shaft reaches full height.

The Kone jump lift solution involves the installation of a bespoke ‘crash deck/lifting beam frame’ within a partially completed lift shaft to enable the installation and use of the permanent works passenger lift whilst the remainder of the lift shaft is constructed.

On small footprint, high rise projects the vertical movement of people and small goods is fundamental to progress, the ability to efficiently move people vertically without the effect of weather or peoples fear of heights (issue with external hoists) is a major benefit.

The benefit to the workforce of early lift access is dramatic, the benefit to the project through early removal of the external hoists is a major win to the project programme in finally closing the external facade. The wider industry workforce will benefit from improved logistics and the industry itself from better programme certainty thus less impact on the local community.
