12 Colleagues from Sisk, WSP and Leeds City Council spent a night under the stars at Headingley Rugby Stadium to raise money for St Gemma’s Hospice, St George’s Crypt and Leeds Rhino’s foundation. The event, called the Leeds Big Sleep, raised over £35,000 for these important charities in the city, with the Sisk team contributing over £2,000 towards the total.
Project manager Peter Dawson took part in the event and said:
“I feel incredibly proud of everyone who gave up their creature comforts for the evening to raise awareness and funds for these charities around the city. On this particularly cold night, it brought home the hardship that homeless people have to suffer every day.”
