Legacy ceremony to mark completion of project

The Ryewood Project has been running since 2012 with planning works far proceeding this. We have provided 500 new homes for the local community including 100 affordable units.

To celebrate the successful completion of the scheme and the jobs it has created throughout the construction phases, Ryewood will be holding a completions and legacy ceremony on the 25th September 2017.

To mark the occasion, we will be laying an engraved keystone on the final building at the front of the development.

We have undertaken a number of case studies on apprentices who have started and completed their apprenticeships whilst on the Ryewood scheme creating new job opportunities and careers for local, young workers.

One of these apprentices (Brad Coutts), has been selected to lay this keystone alongside the Councillors of both the Dunton Green Parish and Sevenoaks District Council. A number of media outlets have been invited to the ceremony including Kent & Sussex Courier, Kent Messenger and Times of Tunbridge Wells.

We believe that this event reinforces the legacy that we have left the local community in terms of the creation of jobs, family communities and a positive impact during the last 5 years of the construction phase.
