Lithium Fire Extinguishers

Lithium fire extinguishers have been installed near contractors battery charging banks.

These have also been installed in offices where laptops are being used along with the potential of mobile phone battery fires.

These are the only extinguisher that are suitable for putting out or cooling a lithium battery fire. Once the battery has been cooled it must be moved outside as they can reignite easily.
