Whilst we regularly look at occupational cancers along with drink and drug campaigns, I decided to take this further and look at nutrition on site, good and bad eating habits, these can have a huge impact on on our site operatives, from their general health to their performance on site.
I invited a nutritionist to site to speak with the workforce, this was hugely beneficial and informative with great emphasis on diabetes and weight along with heart disease.
We also looked at hydration and how these areas directly affect our performance and mood.
