Maxvac Core Drill

On the Royal Albert Dock for Multiplex, we have introduced the Maxvac Drilling Shrouds which captures nearly all dust generated whilst Core Drilling.

Using the vacuum suction, the dust and debris are caught within the shroud, giving operatives a truly dustless working environment which saves our workers from breathing harmful silica dust whilst keeping the area dust free and saving time and money in the clean-up. The Maxvac Drilling Shroud uses vacuum suction to ‘stick’ to whatever surface operatives are drilling and can be used on concrete, wood, drywall, metal, and nearly any other material on ceilings, walls, floors, and any other surface.

When used in conjunction with a certified M or H class vacuum, operatives are protecting themselves and those around them from hazardous and harmful dust. The machine can be fitted to practically any brand and model of vacuum hose from 38mm or less, including vacuum hose reducers as small as 22mm diameter. For regular users, who want a permanent hose connection, a 35/38mm hose can be fitted. As long as a suitable wet vacuum is used, it can be operated in conjunction with on tool water suppression also.

This has been a highly valued tool on our project and highly commended by all operatives who now feel more protected from dust.
