Led from this project and championed by one of their young site managers, this year this contractor has signed up to be part of Movember’s Business Club in support of Men’s health and bringing about change in the way it is approached.

A poster campaign was designed that each week would be a different focus on the key subjects of Heart Health, Mental Health, Prostate Cancer and Testicular Cancer. This was shared business wide so that some could learn more privately if needed.

Movember has been well supported by the business and over 60 people signed up to become Mo brothers and sisters in support of the charity and raising awareness for men’s health.

One of the targets set was to open the conversation, they took this further and have had a number of talks held each week which have been very well received. Open conversations are being had and important information discussed around site on getting checked, or checking yourself, past experiences, support and making each other feel at ease.

They have so far raised double their target for the charity and hope to work more closely with them in the future reducing the taboo, breaking the stigma and making it ok for men to talk about health issues that concern them.
