SEE ME Scotland provided the project with 150 SEE ME badges – each badge comes with two facts about mental health.
The badges were distributed amongst staff and each were given the facts. After 24 hours or sooner of wearing the badge, if someone had asked them about it they must pass it on to another person and tell them the facts.
In line with the project’s mental health strategy this campaign is all about beating the stigma and getting people to engage with each other and talk about mental health. The campaign went very well and again raised the profile of mental health.
Those involved were astonished with the facts. The workforce were encourage to pass the badges on externally to friends, family and strangers to further spread the message.
