Minimising Impact on Infrastructure

To minimise the projects impact on the local infrastructure network several initiatives have been developed.

The team have engaged Transport for London to understand the impact that the development is having on the number of people travelling via public transport to the project. The collaboration in the sharing of data is being used to help inform project policy regarding alternate measures implemented to reduce impact of the local transport infrastructure network.

The site has implemented staggered opening times so that not all staff come to the project at the same time.

Workers are made aware of alternative travel modes and emphasis has been put on cycling with a large area set aside specifically to accommodate those cycling to work.

A project specific shuttle bus service has also been deployed on the project to run from the nearest tube station to the project entrance. This minimises the interaction of the project staff with the public whilst also reducing potential overcrowding of the bus routes which run to the project.
