Public and community feedback is important for all sites to allow improvement.

It can be difficult to identify every form of disruption that is being caused and therefore the community can provide this essential information by providing a platform for communication.

One site achieved this through the example below:

  • The team introduced a new mobile app that allows project visitors and workforce to issue positive interventions via their mobile phones;
  • The new system is compatible on all iOS and Android phones and a customer experience survey allows visitors (including the client and the workforce) to provide feedback using an iPad mini positioned at reception.

This innovation has since been further developed and improved. Since October, the site has had 109 positive interactions and compliments; 33% were completed through the app. This data has been tracked and analysed and uploaded onto the site Facebook page, plotting residents’ locations to be able to thank them for their feedback. The site now offers free software and support to upload this onto mobile devices, making it accessible to all operatives and visitors.
