Mobile Waste Compactor Dust Extraction Canopy

A dust extraction canopy was designed and manufactured for use on site and can be move to other sites. The canopy is designed to wheel in to place when a waste compactor arrives to site. On the canopy top, there is a hood with hoses attached that extract the dust to a scrubber at low level with replaceable filters.

The contractor has been asked over the past couple of years to reduce the amount of water used to dampen dust, which is quite traditionally used across the industry on sites with waste bin removal. The reason for this is that dust and other building material can create a slurry and solidify inside with a heavy mix of water. This initiative gets rid of the water element completely.

This changes the way that waste is managed on site. Not only is it helping operatives directly involved in disposal, but reduces the negativity to other peoples health (site staff, other building users or public) and also the dusty appearance in the air/to other buildings or property
