To help raise awareness of Modern Slavery at Mace’s Hanover Square project, all Mace staff and sub-contractor supervisors have downloaded Unseen UK’s new mobile phone app which was launched on the ‘World Day Against Trafficking’.

The app aims to raise awareness of Modern Slavery and make reporting to the Helpline even easier. It provides a simple guide to recognising the signs of modern slavery and reporting concerns in confidence to free more victims of slavery.

In addition to this, Mace have also produced a pocket sized card to distribute to all operatives and supervisors to help them spot potential victims of modern slavery. At Hanover Square the project team have held several Toolbox Talks to promote the use of the cards and app, with the aim of raising awareness of Modern Slavery to all those working on site.
