Multi-trade cooperation during a project

All construction projects should be managed in conjunction with utility companies to minimise interruptions to the community.

Throughout any project, in the interest of forming positive and enduring relations with the community, it is essential to maintain communications and updates.

Many sites have cooperated with multi trades for the benefit of the workforce and public, for example:

  • A project where utilities and highways work was taking place, was also bordered by both residential and commercial areas, resulting in road closures and other disruptions;
  • In order to counteract these disturbances, the site team successfully integrated these external elements into their own communication and project plans.
