Near Field Communication Tags
Near Field Communication Tags are located in the site canteen and throughout the welfare area to share key information with the workforce in a digital and more engaging method. This is also to reduce the amount of posters being displayed on site that are very often ignored.
NFC tags are passive and do not require a power source. The tags rely on the mobile phone, coupling with the tag loop antenna to pull the written bytes of information that have been have written to enable an action to be performed. The deployed tags are capable of storing a limited number of characters, but large enough for a website to be written.
Information included are coronavirus resources, health and safety briefings, progress photos and videos, on site questionnaire, good news stories and social media
