Frankton Group Security have now established a communication network to support each other with shared intelligence, which was previously limited to the nearby hotels. This is particularly effective in the area as most of the buildings have shared connected roof tops. The network has now expanded to all nearby hotels, private residences and construction projects.
The communication network was set up by a ‘meet and greet’ initiative from the Frankton’s Security personnel at 20 Grosvenor Square, who went around area to meet all the security key personnel of the neighbouring buildings and collated contact details. The Frankton’s team set up an email chain that is now used regularly to update any details regarding intrusions or threat spotted/reported in the nearby properties. The information like CCTV footage is shared via this email chain is produced to the local authorities as evidence to aid in their investigations.
This has proven effective as an intruder was spotted on the roof Grosvenor Square project just two days after a similar incident was reported in the same area. With a combination of CCTV coverage and night security, the police were given all the required information to apprehend the individuals. This network also monitors free climbers in London and shares reports of any intrusion.
Frankton Group has been proactive in engaging with the local community and this security network will be passed on to the facilities management once the project is complete.
