NetRegs e-learning Tools and Case Study Videos

NetRegs is a partnership between the Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).

They provide free environmental guidance for small and medium-sized businesses throughout Northern Ireland and Scotland.

NetRegs have also recently generated a series of e-learning tools on subjects such as:

  • Duty of care
  • Preventing pollution
  • Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
  • Renewable energy
  • Sinks, drains and sewers
  • Towards environmental excellence

These e-learning tools can be used on construction sites as reference documents for toolbox talks. Each e-learning tool gives a quick overview of the subject and then provides a short test to make sure the key points have been understood.

NetRegs also host a number of case study videos on topics including:

  • Air pollution
  • Carbon Reduction and Efficiency
  • Environmental Management
  • Materials, Fuels and Equipment
  • Transport
  • Waste
  • Water

Access NetRegs case study videos here

These tools are designed for use by businesses in Northern Ireland and Scotland. However the principles outlined can be applied to any business. Where regulations, or business support organisations are mentioned, these will be specific to Northern Ireland and Scotland.
