NetRegs Self Assessment

NetRegs is a partnership between the Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) in Northern Ireland and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) in Scotland.

They provide free environmental guidance for small and medium-sized businesses throughout Northern Ireland and Scotland.

NetRegs have also recently generated a free online self assessment, which enables organisations to ‘self assess’ their environmental awareness.

Once completed a PDF report is created that will show you where you have considered your potential impacts and where you can improve and provides links to NetRegs guidance that may be useful.

This assessment is anonymous and is useful to allow businesses to regularly check that they are compliant in the key areas of environmental regulation.

These tools are designed for use by businesses in Northern Ireland and Scotland. However the principles outlined can be applied to any business. Where regulations, or business support organisations are mentioned, these will be specific to Northern Ireland and Scotland
