NRMM tagging system

Mace at the Tottenham Stadium project have devised and implemented an NRMM (Non Road Mobile Machinery) tagging system in order to comply with the planning conditions imposed upon them by the GLA relating to air quality. All plant (NRMM) that meets a certain criteria is required to meet EU Emission Stage IIIA or above. In order to ensure that this is the case, Mace have been collating a register of all plant on site, with it’s key details stored here.

However, to make this process as effective as possible and to easily identify plant which is compliant, Mace created an NRMM Compliance tag. This tag states key details which can be instantly referenced on the NRMM register.

This tag is issued once it is confirmed that plant is compliant. Additional safety benefits are realised, whereby tags (and compliance) can be checked on site audits (both internal and external) without being within close proximity to the moving plant, which constitutes a distinct risk on a construction site.
