Online Waste Bin Request System
This project is a mixed use scheme sited on the Old Scotland Yard site, consisting of 268 fully fitted out residential units which are incorporated within 6 residential towers which sit above the podium buildings. Therefore, there is not much space available for waste bins on work areas.
The contractor have instructed their logistics subcontractor to provide an ‘Online Waste Bin Request’ system, so that subcontractors need to order their waste bin the day before by latest 14:00, providing quantity and type of waste bin (plasterboard or mixed waste). Wheeled bins will then be on the floor plates ready for the works in the morning.
Bins have been numbered, so subcontractors can identify their bins. Also, once waste bins are delivered to work area, pictures are shared on the ‘Bin Request WhatsApp Group’, as evidence.
