Onsite Tumble Dryers For Operatives PPE

On the Royal Albert Dock project for Multiplex we have purchased two onsite tumble dryers for all operatives to use for drying out PPE which has become wet due to heavy rains or by window cleaning. Operatives do have drying rooms but they tend to get filled extremely quickly and operatives were complaining that clothes were still damp despite being in the drying room overnight.

As a project we felt that the best solution was to purchase the two tumble dryers and have them accessible for all operatives to use during breaks as this would keep them productive and enable them to go back to work more quickly in dry PPE. Having dry PPE would also prevent them from developing any illnesses due to wearing damp clothes.

The tumble dryers have been greatly valued by all operatives and the feedback on them has been highly commended by all.
