Overdose Protection

Following first aid being administered several times to members of the public who were under the influence of drugs and in need of assistance, the site team decided that more had to be done to be prepared for a potential drug overdose situation around the site.

Stop The Deaths is a campaign designed to help increase awareness of drug overdoses and the actions needed to help save a life, members of the site management team completed e-learning courses on Drug Overdose Recognition & Naloxone Administration.

Naloxone is a drug that can reverse the effects of a opioid related drug overdose, the site now has naloxone kits on stand-by should a member of the public require it.
