Overhead Recycled Drying Pulley

From the early stages of this project, they have had a few members of the supply chain approach them, looking for more drying space for their jackets and trousers during the winter months on site.

Due to coronavirus restrictions they have been limited on the welfare they can hold on site, due to the limited space. However, they realised that they could maximise their capacity for drying by using space overhead and not encroaching on the main walkway’s areas.

The overhead pulley system allows clothes to be dried more efficiently by the heat rising through the clothing, while not being disturbed by operatives at low level. Clothes pegs have also been provided.

This allows the team to use a combination of the provided coat hooks, lockers and storage space, alongside this overhead option, which has been made with on-site recycled construction materials.
