Pallet Shredder

On site we often have pallets lying about, taking up space which create a fire hazard and can pose other health and safety risks with staff and operatives tripping over them.

Pallets can easily be shredded, saving time on staff having to break up wooden pallets manually and scrapping or burning them. Essentially wasting valuable wood which could easily be recycled. Money can also be saved on the disposal of these wooden pallets.

Our timber shredding pallet machines make recycling them a very easy task. The shredded pieces can then be stored away tidily and sold on for further revenue. All waste timber going forward will be recycled and used for the following depending on the grade of chips produced:

  • Grade A (clean dry packaging) will be used either as animal bedding or for manufacturing of particle board.
  • Grade B (all other timber waste) will be used as a biomass fuel in a power station.
