Passive Speed Monitoring

The system is a GPS-based electronic monitoring software which monitors through plug-in trackers issued to the driver upon arrival at the project. Issued with drivers’ rules, the monitor is plugged into the vehicle’s 12 volt socket outlet and instantly starts transmitting the position and speed of the vehicle.

This means for all the time the vehicle is on the multi-plot development, its speed is being tracked for compliance with the site speed limit.

The tracker is recovered at the exit gate and recycled for its next use. In the event of over speed a notification is sent almost instantly to any pre-set email or phone number as agreed with the client.

The software can produce a consolidated report which itemises all non-compliance for issue to the principle contractor or client.
