Pendleton Together Lockdown Packs

The project team received a call from the Community Initiatives Officer at Pendleton Together, who has been putting together some packs for 50 of the most vulnerable families in the Pendleton area.

This is to try and help with the burden of lockdown on children and their families. Within the packs there was various games and entertainment for the children and the project team were asked if they could help out.

They printed off 50 colouring books and thought of an idea for the children to try and design a new 20 mph poster that can be used at both ends of Hankinson Way to warn drivers of the new speed limit with the winning entry being chosen once all the entries are in.

This example of best practice is just one way that projects can work to tackle the virus and reduce the spread. For full guidance and the latest Government advice read the Construction Leadership Council’s Site Operating Procedures.
