Personal Atmospheric Gas Monitor

After attending a recent seminar on confined space working, we decided to look for a system that covers several needs, such as:

  • Good ergonomics.
  • Ease of operation.
  • Good audible and visual alerts.
  • Real time data upload.
  • Able to replace separate two-way radio.

We decided to trial the Blackline G7C and current field trials show that it does all of the above.

The unit has:

  • Functional interchangeable gas cartridges.
  • Push-to-talk facility.
  • Several alert types connected to emergency response centre (call escalation).
  • Web Based Analytics Portal for assessment of gas data, alerts and export of necessary information.
  • Lone worker/man down facility available too.
