Planting a tree for every new employee

Construction sites are increasingly aware of their impact on the environment and the carbon footprint of their activities. With this in mind, efforts have been made to offset carbon emissions, for example through tree planting initiatives.

See the examples below for how one site implemented this initiative:

  • The company pledged to donate one tree for every new employee.
  • The employee chooses where the tree will be planted, such as in their own garden or at a site in the local community like a school.

This gesture demonstrates the site’s commitment to the environment and leaving a positive legacy upon the completion of works.
