Plastic Campaign

In light of the ever growing awareness of plastic waste and its impact on the environment, JRL Group has launched a plastic reduction campaign across the business.

As part of our strategy, we are going further than working with our supply chains and are incorporating ways to support reducing plastic within the day to day activities of our employees. We have now launched a re-usable, branded cotton tote bag which is made available within our offices for individuals to use when they visit the local shops during the day.

This quick win has a number of fantastic benefits:

  • One re-usable shopping bag equates to approximately 22,000 plastic bags saved over an individual’s lifetime
  • Branding the bags with our campaign logo promotes our environmental initiative and ongoing efforts to reduce our impact on the environment
  • It reduces plastic waste within the offices as less plastic bags are bought an disposed of. Less plastic waste means less plastic pollution.

We have determined that by providing our branded re-usable cotton bags across our sites and offices, we are able to reduce the amount of plastic bags purchased. With our complementary plastic campaign posters, we hope to continue raising awareness on this important issue.
