On this project they have created a responsive website called ‘Platform One’ which has now been implemented across the entire company.
The website has two important functions. Firstly, the website provides a central hub of innovation, best practice and information about Willmott Dixon’s company standards. Secondly, the website operates to show the locations of various developments across the country and to showcase all live site projects.
The general public and in particular, local communities can visit the website and access detailed information about each live project and projects relevant to their local area. Individuals can even receive contact details for each member of the project team if they have a query or want further information and guidance.
The website is regularly updated with comprehensive newsletters, posts and live updates to keep the public and local communities informed and up-to-date with project progress and development.
This innovation has proven to engage the general public and to improve relations with the local communities. The site project is in the progress of delivering project-specific QR codes to take individuals directly to the relevant site nearest to their area.
