Polypropylene Recycling Scheme

Construction projects can create a great deal of waste, which in turn harms the environment. Plastic materials are particularly difficult, but this supplier devised an innovative way of making their business more environmentally friendly.

See the examples below for how the supplier achieved this:

  • Launched a waste take back scheme which recycles polypropylene packaging into new packaging material.
  • This reduces the volumes of waste to landfill, reduces customer waste disposal costs, helps customer compliance with environmental requirements and contributes to carbon offsetting.

Protecting the environment is everyone’s responsibility and it is vital that we reduce, reuse and recycle.
