Positive Lifting Steelwork Attachment to remove the risk of incorrect slinging

Following a request for all subcontractors to produce a best practice proposal the steel work supplier put forward a Positive Lifting Steelwork Attachment proposal.

This was a lifting ‘grommet’ installed at the calculated central point of gravity for each steel member.

This ensures that the risk of incorrect slinging is removed, improving safety as well as saving time, increasing productivity and removing the risk of damage
that could be caused by chains thus avoiding the need for remedial work.
