Protecting vulnerable members of the public & workforce

Operatives should be briefed on issues sensitive to neighbours and the workforce.

Sites and companies should help operatives to understand how best to conduct themselves around community members with particular requirements or special needs, such as young children, elderly residents or people with disabilities.

Many sites have developed specific policies, to clearly advise operatives of how they are expected to behave when working amongst vulnerable adults and children.
