Proximity Monitors for all Operatives

To ensure social distancing of the operatives in times when their concentration is on the job in hand and they can naturally drift together a proximity monitor which bleeps and vibrates as operatives close in towards each other has been used.

This has has a positive effect and been welcomed by the individuals working on the project and therefore ninety monitors have been ordered for the entire workforce.

This example of best practice is just one way that projects can work to tackle the virus and reduce the spread. For full guidance and the latest Government advice read the Construction Leadership Council’s Site Operating Procedures.
