Public Communications Templates

During periods of national lockdown and throughout the coronavirus pandemic, the Considerate Constructors Scheme has seen a significant increase in the number of public concerns received about behaviours in and around construction activity in relation to coronavirus safety in particular.

To help keep neighbours and all members of the public that are affected by works informed about the guidelines and adapted working processes that are in place throughout the industry, we have put together some templates which we hope will be helpful and can be adapted and used by the industry.

The templates help to inform the public about the construction specific guidance from the Construction Leadership Council, as well as steps that have been taken by sites to keep their workforce and neighbours safe.

These documents can be printed and displayed at site, on community notice boards or circulated with your usual community engagement activities, alternatively the wording can be lifted and copied into your own template communications.

Keeping communities informed is always important throughout the duration of any construction activity, but this is particularly important during these times of national lockdown as more people are likely to be at home and impacted by the works.
