QR Code Scanning

We have developed QR code printing to utilise onsite for quick and easy access to QA inspection, snagging and issues. The QR codes are assigned to various areas of the building to include elevations and floor plans.

By assigning the same location on our iPads through BIM 360 field, we can access onsite. The QR codes are positioned onsite in the working areas, which allows our supply chain supervisors to access and check.

If works are complete they can sign off using the site supplied iPads ready for inspection. It vastly reduced paper trails and is a much more quick and effective way of managing the Quality inspections onsite.

This is a far more inclusive process and our supply chain are responding well as the process is continually updated automatically with sync and emails issued automatically through BIM 360 field.
