Qualifications on PPE
Keeping a track on operatives training qualifications is a challenge for any construction site, particularly for sites that have large number of site personnel (750+).
To provide on-site reassurance that individual operatives are appropriately qualified to carry out the works they are undertaking, all sub-contractors have been encouraged to issue Hi-Viz vests with the company and operatives’ names, along with their training qualifications clearly displayed on them.
This confirms that the operatives are appropriately trained and able to carry out their tasks effectively and safely.
