Quensus Water Management System

This project has recently installed the Quensus Intelligent Water Management System, to minimise the risk of leaks and waste of water during the construction period. This is a temporary solution in place for the construction period and not a system built into the final building.

The system allows management to monitor the daily, weekly and monthly water usage on site and shut down/open the control valves to both the MCW and BCW systems remotely via the Quensus Flow Reporter app. Users can also schedule longer shut down periods for weekends and Bank Holidays.

At the end of the month, reports are generated to assist with monthly site emissions and carbon reporting, which is an additional benefit of this comprehensive system. The system also sends warning email alerts to management highlighting any extensive use of water, which is a useful indicator of a potential leak. Alert limits can be set by users, recognising the works being undertaken on site. They are also able to set targets for water consumption based on the readings.
