Re-Fuel Here

At site set up, Pacy & Wheatley establish a re-fuel area which includes the following:

  • “Avoid Accidental Spillage and Re-Fuel Here!” poster: operatives know to re-fuel at this point because spill control equipment and clean up information is available.
  • Emergency spill plan which provides detail on what to do in the event of a fuel spillage.
  • Drip tray to hold gerry cans.
  • Spill kit (including gloves) to contain spills.
  • Absorbent granules to absorb spills.

Any larger amount of fuels are either supplied to site in a bunded bowser, or if drums are utilised, they are stored on a bund with a fuel pump attached. Only authorised/ competent operatives re-fuel machinery. Our target on all sites is zero spills.
