Real Time Site Monitoring and Zoning

This contractor is leading a two-year collaboration with Plinx and MachineMax to transform site operations through real-time monitoring, zoning, & behaviour-led feedback.

The first phase is to install 100 retrofittable MachineSense sensors to track idling and plant utilisation, targeting a 7% carbon reduction and 10% utilisation improvement.

The second phase introduces advanced safety features including operator alerts, site speed limits and zoned segregation between people and plant.

This initiative is expected to deliver £1.56M in savings, greater compliance, and site-wide visibility.

Unlike traditional systems that only record activity, it actively reduces idling, improves utilisation, and introduces zoning to keep people and machines safely separated. This integration of environmental, operational, and safety outcomes in one platform delivers measurable carbon cuts, efficiency gains, and multi million pound savings, setting a new benchmark for digital site management in construction.
