Rebrand Creating Upcycling Opportunity

Following a company rebrand, there was the need to order newly branded PPE and workwear for site staff.

Identifying an opportunity to find a new home for these, the in-house Sustainability Managers collected the old branded hard hats and workwear, including hi-visibility vests and jackets from projects. They then organised a de-branding workshop, for an afternoon of removing the old branding and identifying new homes for them.

The workwear jackets were good as new, and were donated to a local homeless charity which came in handy during the colder months. The de-branded hard hats were donated to a local apprenticeship scheme, who used the hard hats for learning and training purposes.
