Reclaimed Brickwork

As part of the planning grant for this project, the old belfast red brick was removed carefully, hand cleaned and stored until such time as the brickwork was to commence in the building.

The old red bricks were then returned to site and reinstated in walls, window frames and internal areas.

This significantly cut down on the amount of waste that would have been generated from an ordinary demolition and disposal, followed by the recycling of the brick meaning less new materials were required for construction.
